I believe it is time for the Indians to part ways with their Cy Young award winning ace. with the newly DL’ed Victor Martinez, the struggling rest of the lineup, and the old Travis Hafner MIA it is time to pull the trigger. Lets be honest, C.C. is not going to resign at the end of the year, he wants way to much money and i see no way that the Indians can barter with him with the like of the Yankees and Redsox. The indians have many pressing needs that need to be addressed now before the AL central gets way to out of hand and out of reach for them.

On that note, i feel by trading C.C. to the likes of the Dodgers for Matt Kemp, Jonathon Broxton, and another hitter is not out of the question. Keep in mind that C.C. is the reigning Cy Young Award winning in the AL. If this offer is up or even an offer from Colorado revolved around Atkins I think the Indians not only have to listen attentively but need to pull the trigger before its too late.
