Hornets vs Spurs Series
Blog post by GETO, 2 months ago
After 2 games, the Hornets look really good against the defending champs! The question is, can they beat the Spurs at home? I think they’ll lose the 3rd game but will win the 4th game at Spurs to take the series 3-1 and finish them off at home! The Spurs look very confused and tired out. If the Hornets can stop the top 3 scorers of the Spurs, they’ll have this series in the bag! Not to jump on the band wagon or anything but the Hornets are very exciting to see and they really have a good chance of winning everything.
His dribbling is just out of this world. He can drive to the basket and pass like 3 defenders without a problem and score. It’s really amazing and he’s still very young. The thing I like about CP3 is that he doesn’t hog the ball. He’s a great team player and a smart ball player.
for the video gamers out there, it’s like CP3 can move in all 8 directions with the same agility and speed. to watch him drive the lane, change the pace, back juke, and then explode for the layup or alley oop pass is like something i’ve never seen before. I don’t even know who to compare him to he’s so good. -bB
CP3 and David West have taken over, i was originally for Kobe for MVP because I though he’s been long overdue, I take that back and give it to CP3, I haven’t seen any PG dominate like this since the 90s, he reminds me of Oscar Robertson to a certain extent. I’d love to see a Lakers vs. Hornets matchup.
Dark horse to win it all. I love the way they play and I’ve become a fan of CP3. Little guys get it done!

The Hornets absolutely dominated the 2nd half. I don’t know if basketball can be played much better than what they did in the third quarter. I was even impressed with their defense! I think they definitely got a lift from the crowd and shot extremely well aside from West, so I think the games will be much closer in San Antonio. Still, I can’t see them not coming away with one of the games on the road.
The Hornets look VERY good. Anytime a team triumphs over the world champs in the post season while their number two scorer gets ten points on terrible shooting is an exhibition in versatility and will power. On top of that, their bench didn’t even play well. I’m considering constructing a shrine to Chris Paul (30 pts, 12 asts, 1 TO).
