I’ll watch NASCAR from time to time but Indycar and more specifically the Indy 500 is just plain boring. All the fuss over Marco Andretti diving in too late on teammate Tony Kanaan, giving him no line on the way out of the turn..blah blah blah, it’s all ridiculous to me. I’ll admit, these machines are faster and more agile than stock cars but what’s racing if you’re done for the day if you merely scratch the wall or someone else’s car? I’ve seen more passing on 2 lane freeways than most open wheel races.

Anyways, tune into Sportscenter tonight when ESPN spends 10-15 wasted minutes covering this event and telling us about what Danica Patrick ate for breakfast, listened to on the way to the track, dreamed about 2 nights before, etc. etc…
