Always Having A Ball On Wednesday
This picture speaks for itself. I found it on Big League Stew, who found it from someone else. This is why going to MLB games are quite dangerous. Clearly this guy did not come prepared. Someone please send him a cup for his next birthday. Hope his insurance covers this….
So…fittingly, I will call this the Balls issue. Anything in this post will have to do with …..balls.
-I think it takes balls for one athlete to call another overrated. But to call said athlete a crybaby in the same thought…Like I mentioned yesterday, Washington Blizards player Brendon Haywood said these things about LeBron James. Now I’m no LeBron fan, but I saw some footage of Sunday’s game and the abuse they dished out on LeBrown I think was borderline filthy. And…the Blizards lost the game anyway…
-After another round of alleged impropriety, I think it would take a lot of balls for Roger Clemens to attempt a comeback.
-The following clip is still funny for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le31JdFl0hc
Okay…this is has more to do with potatoes; small potatoes, big pain….
-The way balls were getting slapped around at Wrigley Field tonight, I’d start to bet that the Cubs will outscore the Bears game by game
- When balls don’t swish the nets, coaches get fired: Say goodbye to Avery Johnson and and possibly Mark D’Antoni. These coaches got their teams to the playoffs, right??
-Opponents finally hit some balls agains Indians pitcher Cliff Lee, whose ERA rose to 0.96 after giving up 3 runs in tonight’s win.
-Holy Balls! The Detroit Tigers are now out of last and a contender to not be a Hunter Flop in my next Baseball Update.
-Sweaty Balls? Hardly…but with May coming, do sweaty balls bring May flowers? If you’re Adam Baller from Big Brother, then this is true…
finally starting to play better. The season is long. I expect them to still be over .500 but even they don’t know how they’re going to do when it’s all said and done.
- Freddie Footballer
Rex Gross Man will throw for 30 tds and 20 ints! -bB
What kind of a nickname is the Blizards…doesn’t make much sense…
Steve Kerr also went on TV and vehemently denied reports that D’Antoni would be fired. That ESPN claim was baseless.
