I know there aren’t too many racing enthusiasts out there but it’s all good. This year’s racing season will definitely capture you. I’m here to make sure of that!

The Gatorade Duels are next week and it’s a unique qualifying method for Daytona. I could break it down but Wikipedia does a better job of it:

There’s a lot of new intrigue this year as well. Dale Jr. finally has top of the line equipment and it’ll be easy to tell who the better driver is between Jimmie Johnson, Gordon, and Dale Jr. since they’re all on the same racing team.

NASCAR fans may freakout when they see that two Californians (Johnson and Gordon) are the best stock car drivers in the world!

I’m really eager to see the Toyotas too. I was sheepish on them before but all I’ve heard is great news from their testing at Daytona so I’m sure there’s a lot of optimism in that garage.
