Freddy Adu has completed his switch to French club AS Monaco on a season-long move. hopefully he’ll get some playing time in Monaco.

re; I thought he was supposed to play at Benfica? Is he actually going to get PT at AS Monaco? I really hope this whole mess about playing time doesn’t happen to Altidore.

well… he certainly wasn’t going to get any more PT at Benfica. Benfica got Aimar from Argentina to take the role of Rui Costa, so Adu was surplus to requirements.

ligue 1 AS Monaco finished 9th in what some consider the worst of the big leagues in W Europe. He’ll get time. Lyon will still win it all, but watch for PSG to finally pick themselves up. Maybe some people will actually go to their games with Makelele and possibly Gallas.
