The Post has learned the identity of every All-Star Game vote winner from the AL and NL for the July 15 game at Yankee Stadium and the starting pitchers.
Major League Baseball will announce today that Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez will start for the AL club at short and third, respectively, and that there are no Mets New York Mets among the NL starters.

do the Post and the Mets not get along? first off they shouldn’t be gloating about Jeter starting at short. he’s having a horrible year and shouldn’t even be in the game. you could take over half of the starting shortstops in baseball, throw them on the Yanks, and I’d bet they’d do better than .270, 5 HRs, and 30 RBI, or whatever Jeter’s stats are. -bB
