the euro team has to be favored as the US team has tons of rookies and guys that have not won big tournaments. stricker is a good player but he has blown several leads in big tournaments. holmes, leonard, and curtis has not shown any killer instinct during the year. cink plays well but not great and furyk has not proved much in the last 3 years.
