Other than Rick Pitino, who would’ve imagined Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen walking into the Celtics’ locker room for this season and harmonizing with Paul Pierce for a thundering hi-ho 26-3 start?
Boston area blowing up Back in the late 80’s/early 90’s it was all about the bay area as the sports mecca. Now it’s the New England area, with the Pats, Celts, Red Sox firing on all cylinders. Must be great to be a sports fan out there.
Not a Great Surprise No they won’t wn 72 games this year like the Bulls did back in ’95. I had them predicted to finish at 60-22 before the season started. Now maybe 65-17. All in all still a terrific team that will give Detroit and San Antonio a run for their money in the finals.
Crazy I’m not a Celts fan but their transformation has to be a great thing for Boston.
I guess it’s still somewhat early, but any chance they finish better than the 95-96 Bulls?

Go Celtics! I’m a big KG fan so I’m happy to see him on a successful team (hopefully). Allen and Pierce deserve it as well.
