Bradley names 33 players for upcoming friendlies

Men’s National Team head coach Bob Bradley has announced a group of 33 players from which he’ll pull his 22 rostered players for the upcoming friendlies against England and Spain on European soil, and
I wouldn’t say Donovan is declining. He’s the leading scorer in MLS this season. There’s even talk of him going back to Europe to try his luck there again. He’s still only 26, though I’m guessing 2010 will be his last world cup. 2014 at the age of 32 isn’t out of the question though.

I really hope Adu comes into his own on a national stage for the senior team this time around. With the decline of Donovan, Adu, Dempsey, Onyewu, and Altedore are the only hope for American soccer.

nice to see him giving young guys like Michael Orozco a shot. A little surprised to see older guys like Lewis, Hejduk and Mastroeni in there, but we need depth, since the rosters for each game will likely be different.
