Alex Cora [stats] will go on the disabled list as soon as today, as the team gives him time to rebound from a right elbow issue that is hindering his throwing.

The Sox are still undecided if they will replace Cora with another infielder or a pitcher, but with Cora unavailable since last Thursday and inactive since the day before that, they decided to make a move.
