Detroit Lions' Mike Martz Thinks Kevin Jones Will Be Ready for Season Opener

Martz expects the injured tailback to be ready for Detroit’s opener Sept. 9 at Oakland. That is at least six weeks ahead of most projections — they varied from the start of the season, to midseason, to missing all of 2007.
