It’s been nearly four months since the leaders of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform asked Attorney General Michael Mukasey to investigate whether Roger Clemens committed perjury when he denied steroid use at the Feb. 13 Mitchell Report hearing. The Justice Department has kept the details of its investigation quiet, but lawyers who have been following the case said the feds probably already have more than enough evidence to indict Clemens.
