Forte was drafted in the second round with the idea he will be a feature back. Adrian Peterson always has been lauded as a dependable backup, and bringing in someone from the discard pile would serve only to muddy the situation with Garrett Wolfe. The Bears need to find a way to get the 2007 third-round pick on the field, not block his path. Kevin Jones? He’d love to play in Chicago. Ron Dayne? Ditto
Forte Even if Dayne AND Jones join this team, I’m still drafting Forte ahead of them. Where I plan on drafting Forte, I won’t tell…..:)

Forte could be a steal there’s a lot of talk about him. Offensive coordinator Ron Turner speaks very highly of him, claiming that after 9 practices there’s nothing he’s not comfortable calling for him. Benson couldn’t catch a pass in 3 years so it’s good to know we have a real every back now! -bB
Forte for Prez just kidding, but he’s flying up mock draft charts. On the high end, I can definitely see him going late 4th, early 5th round.
