In what will go down as one of the biggest shockers in the history of the NFL, the surprising Giants ended one of their wildest seasons ever by stopping the New England Patriots’ quest to make history of their own. They beat the previously undefeated Pats, 17-14, in Super Bowl XLII, to win their first NFL championship in 17 years and third overall.
yes!! nice. no more talk about asteriks, if their 19-0 season would be tainted. i gotta hand it to plaxico, someone who i criticized earlier for opening his mouth. i was wrong and he was right. what incredible D.
one play that play where Eli got away from 2 defenders, avoided the sack, and launched it downfield to David Tyree, who caught the ball with one hand against his helmet. wow. I’m still in shock at how it all went down. It was surreal.

the key play i think BB’s ego got the best of him. going for it on 4th and 13 instead of a 48-yd (i think) fg try? wouldn’t he like that FGA back! guess he can’t do much unless he has the other team’s playbook.
congratulations Eli and the Giants deserve all the respect in the world. Nobody believed in them. At this very moment, they define the beauty of sports.
Bow Down…. .....cause the NY G-Men ran the Pats right out of town!!
#1 i’m going to pick ELI’s #1 for QB next year in Fantasy Football… woooooooooooooo good job NYG!
