Gateway to controversy Josh Howard is an honest guy, and for that I respect him. He said he smokes pot during the offseason sometimes and absolutely doesn’t during the season. That this became news is not surprising (D.A.R.E., Nancy Reagan, etc.), but his admission sheds light on the fact that he’s forthright, not that he’s a criminal. I don’t know the laws in Texas, but some states treat having a personal amount of marijuana like a speeding ticket: it is a violation rather than a crime. I cannot wait for some commentator to question his play and relate it to pot’s effects. That will be inevitable, golden idiocy. At any rate, the blurb is right by predicting that Josh will be able to smoke early due to another first round exit. You think he has his Santa Cruz vacation booked yet?

Not that big of a deal I agree. Sort of silly to make a big mess of all that. Did he even say he smoked in the US? It’s legal in other countries.
I do hope that it’s awhile before he gets to smoke again though.
