Knicks GM Donnie Walsh arrived to Florida sounding more and more like he would look to “wheel and deal” his overall #6 lottery pick in the NBA June 26th draft. Walsh believes that the draft is not deep after the top two picks of Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley and may not contain a bonafide point-guard-of-the-future.
“We’re going to look at every option,” Walsh said. “Trade it outright for a very good NBA player. Trade back for multiple picks. Trade up. There’s a lot of different things you do. You explore everything.”
bayless or mayo..or even augustin? let’s see what he’ll trade the #6 pick for before i jump to any conclusions but I have a feeling that the Knicks draft (once again) has “botched” written all over it.. -bB
Warriors Would Love the #6 Pick We could trade our #6 pick to Golden State for Monta Ellis or Baron Davis. Warriors can then use that pick to get a “big man” that can rebound and pass named Kevin Love.
That trade would work out well for both parties.
