Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony today shrugged off leaving two Lakers tickets Monday for USC star freshman O.J. Mayo, and doesn’t believe it should constitute an NCAA rules violation.

Melo isn’t a pro sports organization and the law states that a pro team cannot give out tickets. Melo is an individual and most likely friends with him. NCAA is crazy I bet Mayo can’t wait to turn pro so he won’t have to deal with crap like this. -bB

how about an agent who leaves tickets for him? or what if it turns out Melo is helping his agent land Mayo?

just avoid impropriety Mayo better get some kind of counsel or agent now. He shouldn’t be making these kinds of mistakes. He has a future to be concerned about.
