eh Just a couple comments:

Man, I’d love to see Fedor vs. Sylvia just so we can all witness “The Maniac” get destroyed. Talk about a lack of humility from a semi-skilled fighter.

Shogun Rua is number two but I’d like to see him rehabilitate himself with a couple fights first before taking a title shot.

Let’s give Anderson Silva a real challenge, Dana White. Let him fight Filho or other fighters from other organizations!

Finally, where are Roger Huerta and Tyson Griffin. These guys might not have the name recognition yet, but they are soon to be top 5’s in their respective weight classes.

what happened to Josh Barnett? he’s listed as #3 heavyweight so does that confirm he’s still active within the sport? haven’t heard/seen anything about him since UFC bought Pride and ruined everything. -bB

Josh Barnett According to his website Josh has still not signed with anyone and has not fought in 2007. Here is the link: http://www.joshbarnett.tv/content/view/78/1/. He talks of wanting to fight Fedor so that after they can train toghether. I would like to see that fight.

UFC Lightweights I don’t think the UFC lightweights get the recognition they deserve. Come on one UFC lightweight is on this list. Sure Sherk would be there if not for his failed test and appeal which was held today at 12am est. I know the nine fighters on here would not come into the UFC and be top ten, not all of them. Gilbert Melendez is real solid, and Gomi obviously would hold his own, but not number 1.

Gomi in fact just got smashed by Nick Diaz who tested positive for Canibus after the match. I know 155 has not been in the UFC long but the talent is so deep its hard to name them all. BJ Penn, Kenny Florian, Joe Stevenson, Melvin Guillard, Frank Edgar, Spencer Fisher, Clay Guida. These guys would destroy some of the top ten ranked.
