From what I’ve seen of Danilo, he’s basically a carbon copy of Andrea Bargnani with better guard skills. Bargnani hasn’t worked out so great. Usually, players with PF size from Europe that play like guards dont pan out so I would advise teams to pass on him.

I’m not a fan of Gordon’s either. I’m a fan of Mayo but he likes to dribble a lot so I see your point with his turnover problems. I’m intrigued by JaVale McGee (going to utube now)..what about this Italian Danilo Gallinari? -bB

Thoughts on this year’s draft class and the mock draft: – Definitely a big 3 in Beasley, Rose, and Bayless. There’s a big gap after those guys. – Mayo and Eric Gordon will be extremely overrated relative to where I expect them to be drafted. Something like 45% of Mayo’s shots this year were 3’s, and he almost averaged 4 TO’s a a game. Check out his AST:TO ratio too — it’s atrocious. Gordon is basically a OJ Mayo-lite. – Buy on JaVale McGee. I watched him play Santa Clara last season when he was a freshman and could tell right off the bat that he would be a special player. I definitely see Andrew Bynum potential in him down the road. – Very surprised to see Love fall that far to the mid-first round, but I’d be ecstatic if the Warriors were able to grab him. He is just what the doctor ordered for them. – Chase Budinger and Robin Lopez are going to be nightmares for the teams that decide to draft them. Budinger has taken an enormous step backwards this season and he’s definitely been exposed as a terrible defender. I could see Robin developing into a Varejao-type but not much else. – DJ Augustin will be great value if he falls out of the top 20. Good AST:TO ratio and can knock down the trey when given too much space. He’s a true point guard and can handle the ball well. – Couple guys to keep an eye on in the 2nd round: DeVon Hardin, Courtney Lee
