Something tells me taking Smith if the 49ers release him would only lead to more disappointment. I think they are safe going with Delhomme, Moore and maybe drafting a rookie or picking up a veteran 3rd stringer to fill the roster.

I mentioned how I thought that was funny that Muhammy wanted guarantees that Carr wouldn’t be the QB before signing. Guess he got his wish!

Moore

Moore has gotta improve over the off-season, and my money would be on them possibly taking a QB in a later round to develop if they doubt Matt Moore is the guy. They could get a possible breakout QB late in the draft…or at least another Matt Moore.
