Houston Alexander chuckles and begs you not to make him out to be Superman. After carefully examining the facts, though, you arrive at the inescapable conclusion that Superman is the perfect nickname for the fast-rising UFC light heavyweight contender.
People’s champ keep it going, Houston from Nebraska! This is the kind of guy I can root for, and he’s actually got more skills than you’d think. You know he’ll put an entertaining fight in every time.

Major Skills This guy came from nowhere and has destroyed top level competitors. If he gets by Silva I think he has to be the next in line for a title shot.
who’s next? i know he has to win next week, but do we know who he’ll fight after if he does win? I think he should only be two steps away at this point. Win next week, win the fight after that (Silva or whoever) and then get a shot at Rampage. He deserves it and he’s a crowd fav in the UFC.

I bet Title shot Thiago Silva is no joke. I don’t think Houston will get beat, but I think it goes atleast to the second round. The light heavyweight division is stacked, but my bet is that if Houston wins next week he will get a title shot. Jardine is now ranked in the top ten in the world after he beat The Iceman, and we all know what Houston did to Jardine. I think the only other fighter that would get a crack at Rampage before Alexander would be Wanderlei Silva, but if he loses to The Iceman then Houston fight Rampage next.
