Rich Harden Dealt to Chicago Cubs in Six Player Trade

The Chicago Cubs have acquired pitcher Rich Harden from the Oakland Athletics in a six-player trade, a day after the rival Milwaukee Brewers landed CC Sabathia.

A’s Are Ridiculous I’m not sure why even have a ball club in Oakland if all they ever truly want to be is a AAA ball club.

Talk about a steal in getting 2 quality starting pitchers for basically nothing. Cubs will win it all this year.

Beane is usually right Harden is perennially injured, although when healthy, he has absolutely filthy stuff. I don’t know much about the guys the A’s got, but I’m assuming they can contribute right away or they will heading to Sacramento with the A’s AAA team. In Beane we trust, and he’s made the right moves so far this year and I had the A’s playing .300 ball. But look at them now.
