Josh Childress, former sixth overall pick in the NBA draft, and a player who played very well for an Atlanta team that put a real scare into the eventual champions, is leaving the NBA to play for Greece.
re: After seeing Childress back in his Stanford days, this is a sad time for the NBA. He’s supremely talented and thanks to terrible management in Atlanta he’s in Europe for at least a season.

re: Also, one great point I heard, was that NBA teams usually have two guys taking up their entire cap so there is no room for 3-5 mill a year guys like Childress or Landry because of cap restrictions. The NBA needs to address this.
