Warriors Looking to Sign Elton Brand to Max Contract Offer

In response to losing star guard Baron Davis to the Clippers in free agency yesterday, the Warriors respond by offering free agent forward Elton Brand a 5 year -$100 million deal.

Brand could not be reached for comment this morning and no deal can be announced until July 9, 2008.

woah! i wonder how much revenge is playing into this. Brand would be a tremendous physical addition to the Warriors. Hope they get it done.
