So now, after David Dellucci’s three-run home run had stunned a crowd that had never seen Chamberlain so much as give up a run here at the Stadium, Joba talked as if he wouldn’t make that mistake again.

re: He’s going to have a lot of trouble as a starter when his fastball refuses to top out over 98 past the fourth inning. It’ll be interesting to see how he does.

Probably the most unsettling thing about that inning was the degree by which he seemed disturbed by it. He looked pretty shaken out there.
