Domitation Wrestlers do dominate MMA. Its scary how well wrestling translates into MMA. Personally I am overjoyed that wrestlers(some of the world’s best athletes) now have an outlet for their talent after college. Look at how far Josh Koshchek has come since his debut on TUF season 1.

Sure there is no way a wrestler only can compete in MMA anymore, but when they start applying other disciplines to their wrestling back ground they become the toughest SOB’s out there.

tough to argue with Kos, Dan Henderson and many others, but I still think Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a bit better. It’ll be interesting to see how guys like Brock Lesnar can translate professional wrestling into MMA success. Kurt Angle said he wanted in on the MMA game, now that would be interesting to see.

Very true… There are so many great wrestlers in MMA the list goes on and on. My two favorite wrestlers currently are Matt Hughes and Randy Couture due to the fact that they both have phenomenal and exquisite records. That was interesting to find out that Randy left the UFC in 1998 over a money dispute I was not aware of that.

does that mean Kurt Angle will do well? i say that Angle will be successful in MMA. The only thing that could stop him is his injury history but his experience is unprecedented. successful mma fighters often have collegiate wrestling experience but none can say they were Olympic gold medalists such as Angle. -bB
