Al Davis needs to go away

The NFL needs to do something about Al Davis. The Raiders have been a stumbling franchise for quite some time now and it all stems from Al Davis’ inability to come to grips with himself and cede control of the team to more diligent people. If there was a minor league for the NFL then the Raiders would have been put of their misery and sent there by now.

With recent news of his letter to Lane Kiffin requesting that he resign, fans should be outraged. Kiffin has been one of the bright spots with the Raiders and I think the team actually overachieved this year. Now Davis wants to rip the entire thing down and put Dennis Green in charge? Unbelievable. Green was ran out of Arizona with a plethora of talent because of his inability to lead and win games.

What makes Davis think anything will be different if Green is leading the hapless Raiders?
