All aboard the JaVale McGee bandwagon!
Props to Rounders Block for making me aware of this guy. Talk about a talent, this guy is amazing. At least his highlight tape looks like it. Sure, he’s playing against mediocre competition but you can tell a baller when you see one. He seems more refined than Tyson Chandler in that he can put the ball on the floor, shoot the 12-15 footer, and also pass.
The mock drafts have this guy around #10 but I’m thinking he’s going to slide up a few spots as teams become more aware of him.
In a perfect world the Warriors would be able to land this kid and then we’d be equipped to get dirty with the Lakers front line in a few years!

Great post game
I've never heard of this guy, but get the feeling that I will be hearing a lot more about him soon.April 18, 2008 - 3:10am

Option #3 for the Dubs this year if the lottery balls fail to do their thing (0.5% plz?) and GM's are able to get past Kevin Love's knee problems.

re:
Not NBA ready yet but the upside is way too great to ignore and pass up on. Free throw shooting is something that can be easily fixed with him and you shouldn't be putting too much weight on his % right now. I usually hate endorsing 7'0+ big men because the vast majority of them turn out to be busts, but I'm definitely buying McGee. I actually think he is a bit underrated because not many people know who he is (plays for Nevada) and what he can do. Easy to overlook a guy who plays for a school like Nevada -- look at Ramon Sessions.Check out this video.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSh4w-UPUk4&feature=related

But anyways, DeAndre Jordan has a horrible attitude and is the project to end all projects. Foul machine who would rather go for the flashy dunk or block rather than being effective. He'll be gone by 7 anyway.

JaVale McGee
Is this guy for real? Dude has got legit skills and he seems like a perfect fit for the warriors ( 50% FT shooter), but the fact that he played in the WAC makes me wonder about his NBA readiness. The guy that interests me for the dubs at pick 14 is DeAndre Jordan from Texas A&M. Or maybe we can trade down in the first round and get Joey Dorsey. I'll take any big man who can rebound n block shots, as long as its not Kevin Love. God I really hope we don't get Kevin Love....
