Ben Braun - fired!

So Ben Braun after several years of mediocrity is finally fired. It’s about time. As a Cal alumni and ardent Bears fan, it’s not without some bittersweetness. He had a lot of success earlier on in his career at Cal but it became quite apparent that it was time for him to go after losing Pac-10 conference records two out of the last three seasons. I hope the team selects a solid coach who has shown a record of success at the college level and with recruiting.

It’s difficult to do, but I’m glad the administration at Berkeley finally axed Braun.
