Chris Brown joins running back fray in Houston
It’s a crowded backfield in Houston. The Texans signed Chris Brown and will cut Ron Dayne. Ahman Green will be back, as will Darius Walker and Chris Taylor.
Taylor was injured last year after knee surgery. Walker had 264 yards on 58 carries.
It seems to me like it’ll be a timeshare between Green and Brown. Do you see any other scenario? I think Walker is talented and as we’ve seen, Green and Brown aren’t the most durable. It’s not out of the question for Walker and/or Taylor to be starting in Houston by year end.

Agree on Chris Taylor
I think Taylor might be on the one to watch. The coaches seem to love the guy. Green won't be able to do much again this season, so it could end up being a Chris Taylor and Chris Brown timeshare at the end of the season. I wouldn't be surprised if Ahman Green got hurt early in the season and never really returned to the field.March 16, 2008 - 5:37pm

Chris Taylor - deep sleeper?
sounds like there's some consensus on Taylor as a sleeper. Where would he go in a draft then? Any ideas? I assume no earlier than the 12th or 13th round of 12 team leagues.- Freddie Footballer

Chris Taylor
I've seen articles recently touting Chris Taylor as a potential sleeper for 2008. But that was before they brought in Chris Brown....wait I can't believe I just typed that. Taylor could still be a potential sleeper. it's not like the competitition around him, as FFootballer stated, is exactly durable. I'll bet both Green and Brown get hurt for a stretch, and Taylor or Darius Walker could have a chance to be 2008's version of Earnest Graham. That is, a valuable RB waiver pickup that helps people finish well in their fantasy leagues. Graham helped me finish second in my auction league after "Cadillac" blew a tire (a knee, LOL).
