Does Cedric Benson get legal advice from Rusty Hardin?
First off I’m a Bears fan with a Ced Benson jersey so I’m the first guy that’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. However, this fight he’s putting up against the laws is just plain dumb.
So what if his friends and family:
1. “Dispute” that he was resisting arrest. Does this ever make a difference? We all have seen Cops and know that it doesn’t.
2. Say the he “wasn’t drunk.” Look at the picture here:

See the Belvedere/Goose bottle behind the drivers seat on the boat? Must be convenient for whoever was driving..oh wait wasn’t that Cedric?
3. Say that the police almost “drowned” him with a water hose. Are you kidding me? Obviously they needed do to something to wash out the pepper spray from his eyes. It’s not the cops fault if Benson was freaking out and couldn’t compose himself. Reminds me of how Benson acts when a defender is within 3 yards of him, he tightens up and falls to the ground.
It’s clear that he knows that he’s run out of chances and he has to try and rectify this situation being that it’s the last season of his rookie deal. Too bad for Benson that in this upcoming contract year he’s going to be in a familiar place, on the sidelines!

he's in the same batch of athletes who are too idiotic to appreciate the position they are in. if they only knew how many people would like to be in their place as a professional football player in the NFL.
