Engram and Branch

What are we to expect from returning Seahawks WR’s Deion Branch and Bobby Engram?

Branch is 8 months removed from the field due to a torn ACL suffered while playing on a high ankle sprain. Common sense tells me that even those he’s back that his leg is in bad shape and probably never going to be the same again. While he’s good when healthy, I’m not sure how long he’ll be healthy for once he starts cutting and taking hits.

As for Engram, he’s been on the shelf for a couple months with a cracked bone in his shoulder. I’m guessing this is similar to what Mendenhall just went on IR for. In any event, it’s a shoulder injury and I’m pretty sure it didn’t limit Engram from running and staying in shape. He might have lost some upper body strength but as a WR I think he’ll be able to produce pretty quickly. The current corps of Seahawks WRs are garbage so it shouldn’t be tough to contribute right away.

I’d recommend that you

I'd recommend that you bench both Engram and Branch.

i would bench both of them

i would bench both of them too. the seahawks cannot score on good teams and still dont have a running game. they are both going to be rusty the first three to four weeks

looks like Engram is good to

looks like Engram is good to go. Branch didn't do bad either. I sense a resurgence out of the Seahawks even though they just got rolled by the Giants.

Both will probably produce

Both will probably produce well when on the field, but I expect Engram to be on the field much more. It's been sad to follow Branch's career since he cashed in on his Superbowl MVP performance.
