Should I keep Troy Murphy?

I like the fact he's a PF,C and he's decent for a big man when he plays. He gets me a lot of boards but some nights he completely disappears. Is somebody like Darko a better play? Thanks. -bB

Nazr vs Haywood

Who would you rather keep? Nazr Mohammed or Brendan Haywood? Seems like Nazr is the one to keep if he can take over as starter.

Both don't do what you typically want from a center: pts, blks, FG%, reb. Murphy is 7reb/g and darko at 5.8reb/g. Both are poor shooters. Personally, I would take Darko and hope for upside since blks are harder to get. You can get 3s from your G and F positions. Murphy is only hitting 1.3/g. Of course if you're dying for 3s and set for blocks, then perhaps Murphy is the right guy for your team, but he doesn't get alot of PT as long as O'neal is playing.

re: Nazr vs Haywood

For both of these guys, it's about PT not about whether they are starters. Both have similar stats if they get 30 min per game, which means you need to monitor their PT. Looks like Nazr will get 25-30 min/g even coming off the bench. Haywood should get the same, but things could change with Blatche lurking. If you need blocks, Haywood is superior to Nazr.

this should be old news by now, but if nate robinson is still available in your league, go get him. 3s, assists and pts and some steals. marbury is going to be out for a while since he has elected to have ankle surgery.

earl watson, ronnie brewer, rafer alston (after tmac comes back), tony allen, rondo (if you need 3s), a carter (if you need 3s an can live with a few less ASST), larry hughes to name a few off the top of my head...

Keep you're eye on him. If he lands a backup role, then you an safely ignore him. If he lands a potential starting job and you need a PG, then he's worth a gamble. But I would still take nate robinson over him unless stoud gets 35+ min/g, which i doubt he will.
