Golfweek should give it a rest
Here’s the link to the cover of the new Golfweek (via ESPN):

Talk about making something out of nothing. Tiger Woods himself said it’s a non-issue. I agree that the reporter shouldn’t have made the comments but does this warrant a major publication to put a noose on the cover of their magazine?
The sub-stories look funny contrasted against this. I’m willing to bet KJ Choi (winner of the Sony Open) isn’t going to frame this on his wall even though his name is on the cover.
Wouldn’t Golfweek readers rather prefer something about the beginning of the golf season and what’s on tap? Perrhaps a preview of the Buick Open in which Tiger and Phil make their season debut?
What do you guys think? Has Golfweek gone to far? I think so.

worse than what Tilghman said
1) taking advantage of this situation, 2) and taking it even further than Tilghman. The symbol of a noose has a very strong racist connotation. Irresponsible journalism, to say the least. If I subscribed to that garbage magazine, I'd send a letter with my request to get a refund. - Freddie Footballer
