How successful will the New York Giants be?

Tomorrow night the NFL season will get underway when the Washington Redskins head into the Meadowlands to face the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Football Giants. While the Giants had an unforgetable season in 2007, capped off with perhaps the greatest upset in Super Bowl history, I think they may struggle a bit in 2008. We all know about the missing pieces that they have at defensive end, not to mention the very good teams they will face in their division throughout the year.

Do you think that Eli Manning will be much better and really begin to mature? If he does, then I think Big Blue will be a pretty good offensive team. We’ll have to see how the defense develops especially with the loss of Strahan to retirement and Osi Umenyiora to a season ending injury. How do you think the defending champs will fair?

the giants offense will

the giants offense will start well because of the momentum from last yr and the defense will still be solid. if they could manage to win enough games against division rivals and do better at home, im saying 11 wins.
