I can admit when I'm wrong..the Lakers..Kobe..ugh
It pains me to admit as much but now I’m believing what everyone has been telling me about the Lakers and their championship chances this year. Watching Kobe yesterday, it’s just insane. Something tells me that if any of the teams were to keep it close in the 4th that KB would just go off for 10, 15, 20, 25 points in the quarter; whatever he would need to lead the team to victory.
And why hasn’t anyone sent Kobe to the deck yet? Lebron, CP3, etc. they’ve all been messed with so far in the playoffs. Could it be that they’re scared of pissing him off and making him even better?

not quite
i wouldnt say he is jordan reincarnate, he is just kobe bryant cannot compare two players because each is different in their own respect, kobe is the man though and i think he would go off for like 20 in the fourth quarter if it were necessaryMay 6, 2008 - 5:07pm

he is very good
great? maybe still. He's doing a lot of good things and playing at a very high level right now. Someone should hit him and see what happens.- Freddie Footballer

Jordan Would Not Have Six Rings....
....if he were to come up to the NBA the same time as Kobe would have. Today athletes are way more skilled, talented and athletic than the ones Jordan dominated in the mid 80's to mid '90's. He may only have three or four rings tops.May 7, 2008 - 2:31pm

re:
Jordan is Jordan. Kobe is Kobe. Two shooting guards who could take over a game at any time. I don't think comparing them is any use because they have both transcended their contemporaries. In a way, these guys belong in a higher league. Only a nod is necessary.May 7, 2008 - 9:07pm

the closest thing
There will be never another player like Jordan, but Kobe is the closest thing we'll ever see. Jordan's impacts on the court, off the court, on passion, and on the game itself will never be duplicated.Reply

Kobe is the one of the greatest of all time....
....it may take one or two more rings for the whole world to realize this, but yes, he really is Jordan reincarnated.
