Is Piazza a hall of famer?
The greatest power hitting catcher ever retired yesterday. Does he belong in Cooperstown?
.308 lifetime average. 427 HRs (396 as a catcher- most all time). Ferocious .922 OPS lifetime. 12 time all-star. Wasn’t all that bad defensively for the Dodgers, though his work behind the plate is the most questionable part of his resume. Throw this in: drafted in the 62nd round.
To me, he’s in.
