Pavlik - Taylor II fight commentary
It’s about 90 minutes from the start of this card, feel free to chime in with your thoughts or running comments if you’re watching the fight.

My head is saying Pavlik – he’s unbelievable, but I think Taylor will come in hungry for this fight – it should be a good, close fight with some bombs being thrown and landed. We’ll see how it turns out.

Montiel stops Castillo
impressive, he picked him apart and the referee stopped the fight after Castillo couldn't get to his feet after taking a brutal body shot. Fight over in round 4, Montiel retains his WBO title.- Freddie Footballer

very good close fight so far
I have it tied after four rounds, 2 rounds a piece. Pavlik got going early in the 4th but taylor is not afraid to mix it up. Great fight.- Freddie Footballer

pavlik probably won round 5
Pavlik probably won that round by virtue of being busier, getting off first but then taylor is countering and trying to steal the rounds at the end of the round. Interesting and very hard to score.February 16, 2008 - 10:16pm

difference in the fight so far

Taylor got some really good body shots in that round. Taylor was very lucky I think towards the end of the round as time was running out when Pavlik got him against the ropes. tsk tsk lucky lucky but that round should go to Taylor.February 16, 2008 - 10:31pm

by unanimous decision. Landed the most punches, was the aggressor for the most part, pushed the action. He was too long, too strong, had too much stamina, was a little bit better than Taylor in all aspects.February 16, 2008 - 10:32pm

Pavlik is pure class
he didn't look tired at all even after 12 rounds. what a warrior. He was the better fighter, bigger, faster than Taylor. Taylor looked like he was playing catchup the whole night. Taylor - where does he go from here? His future is certainly looking cloudy right now.- Freddie Footballer
