Rudi Johnson or Marion Barber?
Any thoughts on whether I should continue to start Marion Barber or go with my #1 RB pick Rudi Johnson. Barber has been hot and cold for me this year. Rudi has been mostly cold due to injury, but he seems to be finally coming around.
Also, anyone think I should gamble with Justin Fargas over Reggie Bush? I just know the week I finally start Fargas, he’ll have 25 yards on 10 carries with no TD’s or something.

Barber and Bush
I'm with Freddie on this one. You absolutely have to start Barber vs Detroit and Bush vs ATL. Fargas has been more productive than Bush lately, but Bush has a much easier matchup.December 9, 2007 - 6:22pm

well, we know that Bush isn't playing but Fargas didn't do all that great either against an excellent Packer D. As for Barber v. Rudi, both did well, but Barber did better. Barber had 104 yards and 3 (wow) TDs, Rudi had 93 yards and a TD. - Freddie FootballerDecember 10, 2007 - 1:37am

worked out for me
I ended up starting both Barber and Johnson, keeping Fargas and Dayne and Kenny Watson on the bench. I won this week's match up and made the playoffs.December 10, 2007 - 10:03am

good stuff, baltman!
glad it worked out. I was watching Barber go off and was thinking, 'I hope baltman started him!' - Freddie FootballerReply

Go with the flow
Barber's got a great matchup this week against Detroit, which gives up a lot of catches to the RB position. Continue to roll with Barber as he's the go-to guy out of the backfield and Dallas should have their way offensively with the Lions. Although the Bengals have a good matchup against the Rams, Rudi just hasn't been doing enough to warrant a start, unless you're desperate.I'm torn on the Bush v. Fargas one. I like Bush's matchup better, against a weak Atlanta D, and he appears to be coming around. You can't discount his talent. For Fargas, he will get the ball at least early as I suspect the Packers will have a comfortable lead by halftime. But they may be playing from behind in the second half and remember the Packers' D is tough, it's December and they're playing in frigid Green Bay. I would lean towards Bush but wouldn't blame you for putting Fargas in your starting lineup.
