When are restricted free agents going to sign?

The notables include Iguodala, Monta Ellis, Okafor, and perhaps some others that I can’t think of right now. What’s the delay in getting these deals done?

For example, what is Mullin waiting for throw the max deal at Ellis? Does he want NY to roll the red carpet out even further to Monta and lose him just as they did Baron?

Also, the 76ers are sorry if they can’t ink Iguodala because all the hype they’ve generated with landing Brand will fly away on the jet that Iguodala is taking to his next team, the Clippers?

re:

To sign an RFA to a team that doesn't already own his contract, that team would need enough cap space to actually sign the player. Guys like Iggy, Monta, and Okafor will receive 11-13 mill a year deals and currently there is only one team that could sign any of those players that does not actually hold their rights, and that is Memphis. Seeing as they've committed to Mayo and their 40 PGs, that rules Iggy/Monta out, and they seem content with Marc Gasol so Okafor is also ruled out. There's no rush because once Monta and Biedrins are signed, the Warriors cap room is gone. Might as well use the cap space we have while we have it.

Igoudala

He'll stay in Philly. With those two there, the sixers aren't too far away from creating a really diverse team that can run, score in the post, and play decent defense. They're a mid level SG and return from injury cut rate player (Livingston?) away from being pretty damn good.
