Both fighters threw punches in a toe-to-toe fightfest, but Sanchez could not withstand Chavez’s power and was TKO’d midway through the 6th round of the scheduled 10-round fight.
Chavez improved to 34-0-1, while Sanchez fell to 20-2.

Cotto won a unanimous decision in what critics deemed an excellent fight.
Cotto improved to 31-0, while Mosley fell to 44-5.
