Football Offseason Moves 2007 ()
Some of the more significant offseason moves 2007 included the following:
The New England Patriots acquire wide receivers Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth from the Oakland Raiders and the Philadelphia Eagles, respectively.
The Denver Broncos send running back Tatum Bell to the Detroit Lions and acquire running back Travis Henry from the Tennessee Titans.
The Baltimore Ravens released Jamal Lewis and acquired running back Willis McGahee from the Buffalo Bills.
The New York Jets traded for running back Thomas Jones from Bears in an exchange of second-round picks and a seventh-rounder.
The Houston Texans released longtime quarterback David Carr, who eventually signed with the Carolina Panthers. The Texans then acquired longtime Atlanta Falcons backup Matt Schaub to be their starting quarterback.
The Kansas City Chiefs traded QB Trent Green to the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins then released Daunte Culpepper. Culpepper then signed with the Oakland Raiders on July 31, 2007.
Former Indianapolis Colts running back Dominic Rhodes signed a two year, $7.5 million dollar deal with the Oakland Raiders.
WR Joe Horn was signed away from the New Orleans Saints and joined the Atlanta Falcons.
WR Kevin Curtis left the St. Louis Rams and joined the Philadelphia Eagles.
TE Randy McMichael moved over to St. Louis from Miami.
TE Eric Johnson is now with the New Orleans Saints after being previously with San Francisco.
TE Daniel Graham was signed away from the Patriots, joining the Denver Broncos.
