Some milestones in 2007 for NASCAR
On November 11, 2007, Jimmie Johnson virutally wrapped up the Nextel Chase by winning a fourth consecutive race at Phoenix International Raceway. The victory gave him a commanding 86-point lead with just one race to go. Even Jeff Gordon conceded that it would be very difficult to overtake Johnson in the last race of the year. It was Johnson’s 10th race victory of the year.
