nasty rotation + nasty lineup = WS ring i’d like to see the A’s get it done this year but fan-bias aside I’d have to say the Mets have the inside edge now. -bB

We’ll see I can see the Mets taking the pennant, but I think they may still have to battle with the Sox for a ring. Boston’s rotation is very comparable to the Mets in depth…of course their new Ace tops Beckett, but we did see his numbers drop off last year in the AL. He may dominate against the NL’s hitting, but I don’t think he single-handedly takes the team from Queens all the way.
