A few other players have been extremely disappointing. Let’s start with Vernon Davis. Wasn’t 2007 supposed to be his breakout year? Running backs – I’m really disappointed in Julius Jones. All the talk from the coaching staff was that he was going to be the starter and get the most carries. It’s obvious to everyone now that Jones isn’t half the player Barber is, at least production-wise. Finally, WR Reggie Brown. Wish I could blame McNabb completely on this one, but nope, Brown gets a share of the blame. He has done zilch so far.
