Frankly, they embarrassed the Western Conference last year (and, luckily, avoided the Hornets), but were creamed by the Celts. With Bynum healthy, are the Lakers the best?
I think the Lakers played out of their minds last year and will be hard pressed to repeat last year’s success, even with Andrew Bynum. I like the Hornets to come out of the West, but the Celtics are still the reigning champs.
I think the same thing as sunsguy, I think the Lakers played out of their freaking minds last year and I just don’t see it happening again. I like the Hornets, but I think that the Mavs with a new coach will be tough, and I really do think that the Trail Blazers may come on because they have so much talent that got the experience the last few years. I also think that the Celtics got lucky by what division they played in last year and all the hype. They also lost Posey, who was a low key, but very important part of that team. I don’t think they repeat at all, they might not even win that divisions because the Sixers are going to be a tough team.
