Does Instant Replay Belong in Baseball?

Poll submitted by sunsguy6, 3 months ago

It looks like Major League Baseball is ready to test out Instant Replay before the season ends. In what capacity should Instant Replay be used in baseball?

Instant Replay should be used for everything: home runs, fair/foul balls, balls & strikes, close plays at the plate...the works.

Instant Replay should be used for all close or contraversial plays. Think Game 163...

Instant Replay should be used for home runs only. No exceptions.

Why not do instant reply like football. Give each coach a set number they can use. When they are used up thats it, not questions asked. That way they can use them for anything.

yes, I agree with some kind of challenge system. give each coach like two. if they are wrong, they lose one. Or something like that. This will keep abuses down and make them be sure to use it in only certain circumstances.

they were saying that the new and revamped stadiums have awful lines of sight for the umpires..this makes sense as I’m sure they don’t take this into consideration with the new ballparks. I think on fair/foul calls this would be a good thing. -The Answer
