We Punched the Pats in the Mouth…. .....fair and square.
Next year I am watchng out for the Jaguars to duplicate this Giant defensive game plan and win the AFC.
Pats got punched… I’m going to have to agree with NYSportsguy…both teams got their share of breaks, and the Giants came out on top. Strangely, they seemed head and shoulders above New England in intensity. Tom Brady got flattened. Kid Manning showed his colors and made some amazing plays. The struggle away from Seymour/ helmet catch by Tyree may be one of the greatest/ most momentous plays I’ve ever seen. Their defense stifled what was one of the NFL’s most potent offenses. Congrats Big Blue, it was a helluva game.
intensity and momentum I really think it came down to these things. We’ve seen how the wild card team becomes road warriors and goes on to win the whole thing and I think there’s something to that. The Pats came in flat but they didn’t look all that great against the Chargers in the Championship game. The Giants were more intense, aggressive and the Pats were not firing on all cylinders.
