looks like a done deal

no more “ifs”, we’ll have to judge his on the court performance with the Warriors.

Webber doesn't slow the ball down

he simply stops it. horrible pickup by the Ws.

webber's role

i voted other. i think he just provides nellie with another option to play his matchups game. would his minutes be more valuable that the minutes of another player? depends on nellie’s strategy. i suppose i could have voted he would provide valuable minutes as a big man off the bench, if I assumed that Nellie plans to use him as a passing big man in the post. from a fantasy perspective, i think he just reduces the PT of Biedrens and Harrington.

Webber certainly won’t improve team chemistry (was there a problem before that he could solve?) or provide leadership (hah! did anyone ever look at him as the leader of his team? this is not the same as being the best player). he won’t destroy small ball because I think Nellie will use him as a passing center and webber is still reasonably mobile and has good hands and passing skills. will he hurt team chemistry? i think he knows he’s close to being washed up and this team is BD’s, not his.

Can't Go Wrong With Webber

But why did Detroit let him go? Wasn’t he giving the Pistons solid minutes off the bench?
